Many of us when we travel have fond memories of the unplanned, often chaotic but delicious treats and drinks that we discover by surprise at a hidden spice bazaars, in roadside diners, in sun streaked piazzas, in queues at fairgrounds, or on rickety verandas while waiting for the rain to stop. Food and travel go hand and hand. The foods, with the visits are rarely dull, a link to another time, in another culture. The sights the sounds and the incredible aromas are what make an adventure.

On holiday foods taste more distinct, flavors are crisper and colors are more intense, and the smells drive us mad with hunger. Food becomes a major joy of our lives. Nothing pleases me more than being able to share some of the joys of my life.

A visit to a beach in Bombay with a traveling circus that included dancing monkeys, acrobat’s tight rope walking with great cardamom tea and mangos on sale.

There are regions I have yet to visit, new places to discover. Many of those recipes still to be discovered or shared. Hopefully these will find their way onto the site through shared community.
